Member Meeting - Layoff & Budget Update

As previously shared, the Personnel Department is currently calculating layoff and displacement seniority across City departments. As part of this process, some members may begin receiving notifications regarding their status and potential layoff. We understand that receiving such a notice can be stressful. Please know that these notices will not take effect immediately, and EAA is still actively working toward our goal of preventing all layoffs.

We will host a virtual member meeting on Thursday, August 7 at 6:30 PM to provide updates on our ongoing efforts and to hear directly from you.
